Tranquilo Village really does offer you the best of both Worlds. The Tranquilo Village condo complex offers 3 pools, 2 bbq ranchos within a quite nicely landscaped environment. The condos themselves come fully equipped and well decorated with all of the appliances you find in most homes such as AC and TV as well as good quality kitchen appliances, giving you a home from home in Costa Rica.

Once you leave the gates of Tranquilo village then you have all the beauty and nature that Guanacaste has to offer.

Tranquilo Village is within a short drive of some Amazing beaches, the closest beach is Playa Tamarindo which is a large sandy beach in the resort town of Tamarindo which is in a large bay bordered by Playa Langosta and Playa Grande. Tamarindo is a vibrant beach town with one of the worlds best beaches to learn to surf. To the south of Tamarindo is Playa Langosta which is a quite beach that also offers surfing and during low tide many rock pools. South of Langosta is Playa Avellanas which is a picturesqe beach offering great surfing for all abilities and the famous Lola´s beach bar and restaurant. To the North of Tamarindo and over the estuary is Playa Grande which is a large beach with hardly any development and several surf spots. The main surf break at Playa Grande is at the northern end of the beach but you will find surf just over the estuary and then 1km further around the bay.

To the North of the Tamarindo bay there are several more beach towns which are worth visiting for those who want a relaxing day on the beach. Brasilito is a small fishing village with several beach restaurants such as the Happy Snapper and Outback Jacks. To the south of Brasilito and accessable via walking or driving along the beach is Playa Conchal which is a great beach for swimming and snorkelling, this beach is infront of Reserva Conchal and the Paradisus Resort so on the beach there is a small market selling souvenirs and several activities available such as Jet Skis and Sailing rentals. To the North of Brasilto is Playa Flamingo which is one of the larger beach towns in the area. Playa Flamingo has several banks, a small supermarket and several nice restaurants, the beach is a long sandy beach which is ideal beach for spending the day relaxing. There are many other smaller bays and beaches within driving distance of Tranquilo Village for those of you who want to go exploring, our manager Bryan will be able to give you directions to these beaches or suggest a route which would allow you to see the best the area has to offer.

Guanacaste is surrounded by nature and there is no better place to see nature at its finest that with a trip to the Rincon De La Vieja volcano in the national park. We offer a day tour where you can go horseback riding, rafting and then spend the rest of the day relaxing in mud baths and hot springs. If you are adventourous then you can drive to the volcano where there are two trails which can be walked, the short trail is a several hour walk which takes you though the forest where you may see Pesote's (nose bears) and howler monkeys, the trail takes you past a waterfall, several volcanic areas such as mud pits and a small geiser. The long trail is an all day hike upto the sumit of the volcano which offers spectacular views of both the park and volcano.
